The covenstead is so unique and full of cool stuff! The staff were super friendly n helpful. The breakfast was amazin with lots of options for everyone! Our room was really comfy with a nice view of the abbey too.
only downside was lack of on-site parking, n the bathroom wasn't ensuite, but it wasn't a big hassle.

The building's decor is a splendid blend of Gothic and whimsical elements, filled with fascinating artefacts that spark curiosity. Breakfast offers a substantial variety, ensuring everyone-from vegans to meat lovers-finds something delicious, all set in a grand dining room boasting ornate carved furniture.
Having no private parking created a bit of a hassle, as finding street parking nearby proved tricky at times, especially during busy hours. Although the shared areas, like the lounge and kitchen, are well decorated, they can feel somewhat crowded during peak times, which might not suit those looking for more solitude. While the lighting in the rooms enhances the ambiance, it can be a bit dim for those needing brighter conditions for various activities.

The covenstead hotel is such an amazin place! Our beautiful quadruple room was super comfy, and the decor is so unique. The breakfast was yum and the staff were really friendly, like family. Perfect location, right in the heart of glastonbury.
It was a bit confusing to find the entrance and we wished there was more info about local attractions. Parking was also a bit tricky.

A Magical Stay That Feels Like Home
The breakfast was really good, with hot pastries and generous portions of a full English, all while sitting at a fine communal table that fostered connections with fellow guests. The owner, Tony, and the view from our room overlooking the Abbey added an enchanting touch to our experience. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be better signage for the entrance, as it was a bit confusing to find.

We had an amazing stay with our two kids, and the owner even took time to show us around after our late arrival. The breakfast spread was great, and our girls loved playing in the garden. While the bathroom was just across the hall, it didn't take away from our overall enjoyment-definitely bring a book for the cozy lounge! 😊
